Decision for ORAL/POSTER attribution : given on APRIL, 20th (at the latest)

Dear Colleague,

We inform you that the deadline for early bird registration to the Interfaces Against Pollution (IAP) International Conference http://www.iap2012.fr - to be held in NANCY (France) on 11-14th June 2012 – is postponed to the 27th of April.

In addition, decision by the scientific committee of IAP2012 on ORAL or POSTER attribution will be communicated to the authors on the 20th of April at the latest.

Authors will be further notified in the case where their contribution is selected for a keynote lecture (which does not give right to reduction in registration fees, see details in http://www.iap2012.fr).

We further draw your attention on the possibility to publish your IAP2012 contribution, after standard peer-review process, in a special issue of Colloids and Surfaces A: Physicochemical and Engineering Aspects dedicated to IAP2012 proceedings. Manuscript submission will start on the 1st of June 2012. Further details will be given in due time. .

I further draw your attention on the possibility to publish your IAP2012 contribution, after standard peer-review process, in a special issue of Colloids and Surfaces A: Physicochemical and Engineering Aspects dedicated to IAP2012 proceedings. Manuscript submission will start on the 1st of June 2012. Further details will be given in due time.

SCOPE of the conference. The IAP2012 conference seeks to provide a forum for researchers working in the interdisciplinary field of Environmental Science with, as a main focus, the importance of biotic and abiotic colloids-interfaces in natural environments, both from fundamental and applied perspectives. IAP2012 is not only intended for scientists working in the fields of environmental physical chemistry and environmental microbiology. It also offers researchers the opportunity to present their recent work on topics of societal concerns like environmental protection, remediation of polluted sites, optimization of mineral resources and impacts of nanotechnology residues on the environment. In addition, specific sessions will be devoted to cover progress in the use and development of synchrotron-based equipments for understanding nano/micro-scale processes at environmental particles or interfaces.
